On July 21, researchers from the KASTEL Security Research Labs (SRL) met to review the successful strategic evaluation of the Helmholtz Topic and to gain insight into the future Helmholtz Topic TruST.
Prof. Dr. Jörn Müller-Quade, spokesperson at KASTEL SRL, offered insight into the future organizational structure and explained the scientific challenges of the new funding period, which will begin in 2028. The goal is to develop solutions to fundamental cybersecurity problems and in doing so make a sustainable contribution to society.
Following the engaging and informative presentation, lively discussions unfolded about the future of cybersecurity research at KASTEL Security Research Labs.
The researchers exchanged ideas, discussed future research focuses, and explored potential contributions to the new Helmholtz Topic TruST.
