Cryptography Meets Culture: YRKS 2025 at KIT

Visit of the French Consul General at KASTEL SRL
On February 23, 2023, the French Consul General Gaël de Maisonneuve together with Science Attaché Hervé Martin visited the Competence Center for Cybersecurity KASTEL SRL at KIT.
Prof. Jörn Müller-Quade introduced the interdisciplinary research of the competence center to the visitors. He also talked about the currently running German-French research project PROPOLIS – PRivacy fOr smart cities, which clearly illustrates the international cooperation in research. At the end of the visit, KASTEL researchers presented the practical application of research results by means of some demonstrators to Monsieur de Maisonneuve and Monsieur Martin.
